Let the Earning Begin

Thanks to seeing the new Star Wars movie, Ian is now determined to get the Lego Millennium Falcon.  Since he hasn’t started doing chores for money, like Miranda has, I decided to “loan” him the money; that is to say he will receive the Lego at the end of January in exchange for doing weekly chores for the next 3 months. It would take him longer to save up an allowance, so he’s getting a pretty good deal out of it, plus he’s building character and learning life skills!  😀 Currently he folds laundry with Miranda and takes out the trash and recycling.  Added to that will be washing the dishes once each weekend day, washing his toilet and floor 😣 once a week, and vacuuming the bedrooms once a week.
