Miranda’s Tip Test

Just a quick note that at karate tonight, Miranda did her first testing. It wasn’t for her next belt; at this age they have “tips” (black tape around the tips of the belt) to denote passing intermediate tests. Successfully get two “tips” and then the next test is for the advanced white belt (half white, half yellow). She really nailed it. I was so lucky: I had been out for a walk with Ian and just came back as Miranda was walking out on her own onto the mats. I didn’t know what was going on, but by the end of her kata it was obvious. After the class, Sensei Leigh told me that my daughter really rocked her test. It was her first tip test, but she did enough to get her advanced white belt. In time, in time… 😉 Her kata looked great: better than I’d ever seen her do it. Way to go, Miranda! ❤️
