It’s a day earlier than normal, but with Halloween on Saturday, we needed to have the carved jack o’ lantern for the last day of Tammy’s school and for Ian’s school’s carving contest.
Because it was going to be in Ian’s contest, he was in charge of the project. I helped scoop the guts and I showed him how to “peel” the skin around the eyes and in the mouth.
Tomorrow, tammy will have this on her desk as she’s teaching her students. 🎃
Nice job Ian. Looks really good in the night mode.
Looking good! Ian Happy👻Halloween
Unfortunately there will be no celebrations/festivals here.
The government has suspended all activities from October 30th to November 13th.
I think it will be quiet here too, but we’ve got candy if any kids come to the door. Tomorrow’s task will be to rig the front walk to keep the kids at a distance. Wish me luck. 🦇
