After the beautiful +15, +17 of the weekend and Monday, it would be forgivable to think spring was here. But Tuesday was only a couple of degrees and then snow came. We’ve had about 6-8 inches so far and it’s supposed to keep up until Sunday.

In other news, I made granola. Quaker Harvest Crunch is my go-to cereal most days, and it’s been hard to get lately. There was a recall due to salmonella, and I understand that there’s some sort of a dispute between the manufacturer and distributor right now. So Tammy goaded me into solving the problem with a homemade solution. I followed this recipe and it turned out okay, but I will do something a little differently on the next batch.
The granola ended up a bit more chewy than crunchy, so I will spread it out over two baking sheets instead of one to get more even baking.
I noticed Metamucil in the pic. Did you add that to the recipe?
