New Basement Windows

In the summertime, I reached out to Perry from the cycling club because I recalled that he did HVAC work. Turns out I was right, and by early August we had a new humidifier.

At the same time, I got Perry to refer me to a contractor, Adam, to see about replacing the old windows in the basement. They were aluminum-framed, with an inner and outer pane. We probably should have replaced them when we finished the basement, but hindsight is 20/20.

It took until last week to get the windows ordered, thanks to supply-chain problems. Then Bruce came this morning to install them. It wasn’t the nicest day to be working outside: it was -13 this morning and snowing lightly. But he was done by 11:30.

The solar panel process that we also started in the summer is still dragging on.
