Everything’s wrapped, Christmas Eve dinner is done (canneloni, for those keeping score), and right now the kids are downstairs with Baba and Grandpa, watching Garfield Christmas.
Last night, we had a nice visit with Mom and Dad, who treated us and Stephanie and the kids to dinner at Royal Roads Café. We arrived early and the kids got to play a while before supper while the adults had appetizers (mmm). Then it was pack to their house for dessert: a selection of butter tarts and carrot cake. Talk about awesome. My only regret was that I only had two pieces of the carrot cake. 🙂
Soon, we’ll pop on the Santa tracker from NORAD for a bit, and read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.
