Last summer, before we went to Victoria (and we had the serpentine belt problem) I mentioned to Tammy that we would probably get some new tires for the Tiguan when we got back. Well, we finally did, five months later. The car is now shod with Toyo Celsius II all-weather tires. This is the second round of all-weather tires: it came with all-season tires, and when we replaced those, we replaced them with all-weather.
This should make it a bit safer to drive around. It’s been pretty darn cold here lately. -17 today is pretty warm compared to the -34 last week.
The odometer says 118,554 km, so we’ll see if they last past the 200,000 mark. They should last 95,000 according to the website.
