On October 11th, I went to my first protest near City Hall with Priya, a friend from my Earth Guardians meetings. She invited me to join her after our first Earth Guardians meeting of the school year on Wednesday. It was a small gathering of people; however, I had fun, met some new people, and was not apprehended for civil disobedience. I plan to attend the next one, which I believe is next week and make my own sign for it. When the protest wrapped up we (the group of protesters) went over to the Central library and had a meeting about the arrangements for future projects. Afterwards, Priya invited me to join her and a group of her friends at a mall nearby which was fun. The overall day was nice and I enjoyed protesting with people who share my concerns regarding the environment.
